Sunday, July 27th

Day 28.
(Teresa)
We have had a great time visiting with the kind residents of Denver. They have been very hospitable and have served us several excellent meals. I think for the majority of us, we really, really, really like the access to computers(Therefore the increased amount of contact).
Our laundry is done, our bikes are clean and oiled. Everything is good and we are ready to move on.
Our celebration service today was one of the warmest we have had to date. It was held outdoors in an extremely non-shaded football field. The ministry fair was held first and we had the opportunity to learn more about the various ministries that the CRC and RCA are involved in. One of the tables was from Bethany Christian Services. After chatting a while, I received a small Bethany Bear to carry on my bike. The black stallion has now received a new name - 'Bethany'. It seems to carry a message of hope and rescue, much more fitting for a tour of this nature.
As we pedalled back to the school after our service, once again, I got a flat. It was one of those nasty goatheads again. I pulled it out of the tire with a tweezers and then found and pulled the tip out of the tube as well. Our bikes are now sitting safely inside the school gym, tires round and firm, waiting to hit the road.
Thank you people of Denver for all that you have done for us and are continuing to do for your community.
